Best Opening Line You Have Ever Heard

I’ve been thinking about this since my fellow author, Kaylin, brought it up to a group of us last week. What is the best opening line you have ever heard? What made it the best? Was it funny? Sentimental? Make your heart go pitty-pat? Get your “juices” flowing?

So for the next 48 hours, post the BEST come on/opening line you have ever heard. Tuesday, as part of our open mic day, we’ll put up a poll to vote and next Sunday we’ll annouce the winner of the best. That person will receive a PDF copy of my hot-off-the press newest release, Michael’s Flight.
